Process for Booking Special Interest Days/SIDs (updated March 2025)
1. Bookings are taken, in person, prior to the morning and afternoon lectures at The Henley Rugby Club, usually 2 months before the SID. The exact booking dates are available on our Website and printed in the annual calendar given to all members of The Arts Society Henley (TASH).
2. Unless advised otherwise, booking opens at 09:15 in the morning (for morning members) and 13:15 in the afternoon (for afternoon members). Places are allocated proportionately between morning and afternoon members.
3. Bookings are only accepted on receipt of payment, preferably by card. Payment by BACS transfer, cheque (payable to TASH) or cash (exact money, please) is also possible.
4. Members may book for themselves and one other member (helpful if you are away on booking day) . For special events members maybe be limited to single bookings only (this will be advised in advance).
5. You will be required to fill in a Booking Form and provide your name, email address, mobile or home telephone numbers. If you are also booking for someone else, it would be helpful if you had these details, otherwise they will need to be submitted later.
6. For events that are oversubscribed we keep a waiting list
7. Telephone and email reservations are not accepted until after the first booking date.
8. Cancellation: we operate a “no-refunds” policy, but will help organise ticket swaps with people on the waiting list (if any). At the time of booking you will be signing to say that you allow us to share your contact details in these circumstances.
9. By attending a SID, you are consenting to being filmed and/or photographed for inclusion in TASH publications. If you do not consent to this, then please let the meeting organisers know beforehand.
