This is one of the most famous legends used by storytellers and artists alike, with Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar becoming universal symbols and representations, such as the three ages and races of man.  We investigate the sources for the stories of their journey - fact and fiction - and the symbolism of their gifts.

Christopher Bradley is an experienced NADFAS lecturer, published author, travel photographer and television documentary film maker.  He still leads a number of specialist tours each year, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa.
